Hi beautiful,
I sometimes find myself scrolling through Instagram Stories… or quite often, if I’m being completely honest. Mostly, it’s things that make me laugh, but every now and then, a quote pops up in the feed that makes time stand still for a second. This time, the quote went something like this:
“Stop chasing butterflies. Instead, build a garden and they’ll come, and they’ll stay.”
I’ve seen different versions of this theme before, but right now it landed as a deep insight into what my life is about at this moment: truly listening to the body.
For me, it’s not about “fixing” anything. It’s about zooming out from the limited perspective and instead resting as the awareness that I am. There is such an enormous freedom in simply landing here – in pure presence, in harmony with all that is.
When I allow the body to express what is true right here and now, without needing to interpret or analyze it, something magical happens. In that state of allowance, a shift occurs. I remember my essence through my body, and I meet the joy that is already here, just waiting to be experienced.
Every cell feels alive when the body is allowed to return to its natural state of flow. The butterflies come when they are supposed to – not because we chase them, but because the garden is inviting when it’s in bloom.
How does it feel in your body right now, if you give it permission to just be?
xo, Annika
